Born in Somerville, NJ "almost born on a horse" says Stephanie's mom. Stephanie has been involved with horses since childhood participating in horse shows at a mere age 4. At age 16, Stephanie started reschooling Thoroughbred racehorse just off the track. Stephanie also got the opportunity to teach summer day camps at their 23 acre horse farm in New Jersey that same summer.

After graduating from high school, Stephanie joined the US Navy traveling around the globe with an opportunity to ride horses in many different countries. Upon leaving the service of the US navy in 1997, Stephanie went on to help her mother run a boarding facility which was home to 17 horses. As the assistant trainer, Stephanie also got the privilege to compete on the Hunter circuit at the local level. With her mother retiring in 2001, Stephanie moved on to new facility with the opportunity to learn Reining.

In 2007 Stephanie joined the El Capitan Equestrian Center's team of Trainers & Instructors. Stephanie offers teachings in basic horsemanship from beginners to the show ring. Specializing in Hunter & Equitation with the knowledge to teach western riding as well. Currently she show both English and Western. Stephanie's emphasis is on safety and control in a fun format.
